A large suburb in a fast-growing county
Fruit Cove, the St. Johns County community that takes in much of the Julington Creek area, had 32,143 residents at the 2020 census, up from 29,362 in 2010, and the county around it nearly tripled between 2000 and 2025. Much of the housing is large single-family homes from the 1990s and 2000s, many two stories with pools, so the systems here are typically on their first or second replacement and often come in pairs.
On the ground
Two systems, two floors, one pool
A common Fruit Cove complaint is an upstairs that runs warm while the downstairs is fine. Sometimes the fix is a second system sized properly for the upper floor; sometimes zoning dampers and a better return are enough. We measure both floors before suggesting anything.
Pools are common here too, and pool heat pumps sit in the same yard as the AC condensers. Servicing them on the same visit, with readings for every unit, keeps the whole set from failing in the same summer.

FAQ
Fruit Cove questions
Why is the upstairs of my Fruit Cove home always warmer?
One system serving both floors, a weak return or a hot attic. Zoning, a dedicated upstairs system or more insulation each help; we measure before recommending.
Can you service my AC and pool heat pump on the same visit in Fruit Cove?
Yes, with readings for every unit, so nothing gets missed.
Is Julington Creek within your service area?
Yes. It's a short drive across the creek from our Mandarin service office.
